GenerateBlocks Headline Block is missing some font families

  • Hi there! Proud user of the Generate suite of products with a small question.

I’m developing a website for a jewelry store, and I’m being asked to display the available fonts that can be used for product engraving. At the moment, of the nine choices I’ve been told to showcase, one of them is proving a tad difficult to show up, as looking it up within the block settings doesn’t provide an option to select it (this font being “The Nautigal”) in spite of it being available within the Google Fonts catalogue here.

Aside from manually uploading the font to the server, is there any way6 I could force GenerateBlocks to look for it again?

Below I attach the screenshot showing the described behavior:
Screenshot of the Gutenberg block editor and the Google Fonts library showing the availability of an unlisted font.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi there,

if it doesn’t show in the list you can just paste in the name to the field : The Nautigal and check the Google Font API option. GB will still make the request for it.

  • Excellent, I just gave that a try and it worked immediately!

Thanks for the help, I’ll go ahead and mark the issue as resolved.

  • Glad to be of help
