Global styles only show on header tags outside the editor

  • Global Styles for multiple GB paragraph blocks in a particular Content Template display as expected on the back end, but have no effect on the front end.

Switching them from paragraph to header tags (my current solution) is the only way I can get the front end to match the back end.

I’ve searched for css errors since reading David’s reply to a similar post, but can find nothing.

Can you have a second look? Styles work perfectly everywhere else.

  • Hi there,

So P wont’t work as the dynamic content being returned contains HTML including <p> tags. And you can’t put a <p> inside another <p> as it’s invalid. So the browser basically closes the tag early.

So I changed the P to a DIV which will work.

  • Awesome! Thanks, David.
