hi there
I’ve updated featured image on my home page however Google is still crawling an old image.
I’ve refreshed the page and cleared caches but it still not showing the one that I see set up as a featured image.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Are you using an SEO plugin?
Have you also checked if your Server is cached, or if your site is using a CDN?

thank you for your quick reply. Yes, we are using All in one SEO plug in.
I’m not sure if our server is cached, we are using Rocket.net for hosting and don’t use CDN.
We also have installed WP rocket plug in and I see there is a note “clear and preload cache” not sure if I should click on that or not.I’m sorry, as you can see I’m not very technical.

Your Server has cache. Can you try asking your Hosting Provider to clear that to be sure, and the ask Google to recrawl your site?: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/ask-google-to-recrawl
