H1 Text Color Issue on Front-End

  • Hi, my H1 text is set to white in the editor, but it appears black on the front end after publishing. I’ve checked the block settings to confirm the color is white, cleared all caches, and reviewed for conflicting CSS, but the issue persists. Could you help me identify what might be causing this and how to resolve it?

  • Hi there,

    The headline’s color is set to var(u002du002dcontrast) which is an invalid value, and h1 seems to be set to var(--contrast) which is black in the customizer > colors.

    If you are sure that the h1 color is set to white in the customizer, make sure you clear cache.

  • In the customizer, how do I ensure the color is set to white?

    Customize -> Typography or Colors?

    What if I just want the H1 on this page to be white? And leave all of the rest of the H1’s the color that they are right now?

  • In the customizer, how do I ensure the color is set to white?

    Customizer > colors > content > heading 1 (h1).

    What if I just want the H1 on this page to be white? And leave all of the rest of the H1’s the color that they are right now?

    Then you need to assign the headline block a valid color value.

  • Thank you, got it figured out!

  • You are welcome   🙂
