Header fonts not working?

  • Hi guys,

I’m changing the Header fonts in the customiser, but the changes don’t seem to be working on the site. Do you happen to know why?

    Many thanks in advance.

  • Hi there,

when you say the Header Fonts ? Do you mean the site header or the main Headings ( H1 , H2 etc )

  • Hey David,

    Yes, the main Headings.

  • I checked various H* headings on the page. And their main styles eg. Font Family and Font Sizes are coming from the Theme Customizer > Typography Settings.

In the Customizer, can you check that the changes have been Published and NOT Saved as Draft ?

If thats not the issue , can you give me an example of a change that is not appearing ?

  • Hi David,

It seems that all of the Header fonts on the website are not appearing correctly. When I’m editing a page, the font weight is correct, but when I view a page as a loaded page, the font weight changes and is incorrect again. When I’m altering the font weight in the Customiser, the font weight doesn’t change. But again, when I view the font as I’m editing a page, it’s correct.

    Thanks again,

    Lee.

  • Can I get an admin login to the site so I can take a closer look ?

You can share logins in the private information field.

  • Of course. Thanks David.

  • I edited the H6 font size in the Customiser > Typography, setting it to 40px.
And I can see the Why Choose First Fix Timber Frames heading has changed font size.
Im left that change so you can see it. So it seems those font styles are getting applied,

Anywhere else I should be looking for he issue ?
