Heading fonts get huge on mobile

  • I have a test site with GP Premium and GenerateBlocks Pro. The test page looks OK until I make the window smaller or look at it on mobile. Then the font on all header blocks get so big one letter takes up the entire mobile screen. Is there a setting that causes this?

You can see it here: https://wetcatbooks.com/contact
The page title gets really big, and if you scroll down to the cover block and text at the bottom, the H1 and H2 headers get really big. Any advice would be much appreciated before I start using these programs on my main site.
    Thanks!

  • Hi Jonni,

Can you check in Appearance > Customize > Typography if there is a Typography rule setting altering H1s and H2s on mobile?

  • I can’t see an option for changing the size on mobile. When I click on the small mobile icon at the bottom of the typography customize screen and change the size of the headings, nothing changes. Am I looking in the wrong place?

  • Hi there,

you’re in the right place, when you edit the font size, theres an option aside the field for setting the units. Currently it is set to REM. Change that to PX

  • Thank you so much – I should have seen that. I really appreciate your help. 🙂
