hide title

  • Hello!

I’m trying to hide the title on some pages (check private info for URL) with no results. I’m checking the Content Title check in the Disable Elements section of the page, but nothing happens.

Do you know what I can do to set a title but hide it?

  • Hi there,

Are you trying to hide the title Enquiry in the linked page?

It looks like it’s added in the content manually using a GB Headline block.

Let me know if this helps πŸ™‚

  • Hi Leo,

Yes, it is added manually in the content, but if I don’t set any title, it appears as (no title) in the page/post section.

Generally, in other Generate Press pages that I have, I can click on turn off content title with no problem. This looks to be something in the generate press template.

    Could it be?

  • Have you tried adding a title in the page editor? I don’t see anything added in your screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/WqEqXRTCl8

Let me know if I’m missing something here.

  • If I add a title, it appears, of course. But the problem is that I check the Content Title check in the Disable Elements section, but nothing happens.

I mean, I want to add the title and check the disable title element. But I did it and the disable title element doesn’t work.

    Thank you.

Can you show me this issue on a test page?

Make sure all your caching plugins are turned off for us to see the source better.

  • You can check it here: (check private URL).

    and here: https://ibb.co/RvpxCCV

  • I’m still confused. As mentioned above, the title Enquiry in the linked page is still added within the content manually by yourself – that is NOT the default title added by the theme.

    What am I missing here?

  • So, to remove that title (or hide it) I have to do it manually? just deleting it?

In other generated press templates I have done, it is enough to click in the Content Title check. It helps you see the page’s title in the page sections. Otherwise, if I remove it manually, it appears (no title), which doesn’t help too much.

  • So, to remove that title (or hide it) I have to do it manually? just deleting it?

Yes – because that specific title is added by you manually inside the page content and not in the title field.

The disable element would only work to hide the title entered inside the title field. Please take a look at this video: https://www.screencast.com/t/lFwU0J9fTPy

Let me know if this makes more sense πŸ™‚

  • Yes, it makes more sense, thank you.

  • No problem πŸ™‚
