After updating the template, the SVG HTML Icons that appear in the Hn have become misaligned, appearing to the left or above the titles.

Hi there,
Can I see the page?
Do you want the icons to align center vertically with the text?

I would like the icons to be in the original location of the template https://generatepress.com/site-library/
-
There’s a span wrapping the icon and the text, it’s not the default GB headline structure, and this is the cause of the layout change, how did you do that?

Hi, I just replied to you. Thanks

I have created a page using only the Hn’s plus the icon above and as you can see, they are misaligned and appear lower left.
The Hn setting is direction: column, centre alignment. -
I checked the page you created on 7/1/25, however, there’s still a
<span>
with ID, as I said it’s not the default structure of the GB headline block, did you manually change its HTML code?

I didn’t change anything, I simply created the page and added the Hn titles and icons.

It is curious because in the administration area of the page, the icons are displayed correctly. I attach the image.

I think you might have plugin that’s change the HTML of the headline block, likely an SEO plugin.
Can you try disabling your SEO plugin to test?
If it still doesn’t work, try disabling all other plugins to test, then re-activate one at a time to see which one is causing the issue.

Thanks, the problem was in the LuckyWP Table of Contents plugin that generated an anchor link and ‘moved’ the icons.
Thanks for the help! -
You are welcome 🙂
Glad you found out the cause!
