Hi there,
You’ve set the homepage content container width to contained, which removes the theme paddings.
Can you set the content container width to default instead?

You can check the layout metabox in the page editor and the layout element at appearance > elements.

I changed contained to default on one of the elements, but still hasn’t brought back the padding 🙁

I can see the paddings. Check your site in an incognito window.
