I’ve been tweaking around with the gp. 20, and i’m really really really disliking it. so much, i’m thinking to switch to elementor, but hey, i’m stuck to this, as 100 websites have GP and GB stuck in em.
Workflow wise I see some nifty things added, but overall, this is a real workflow and business killer for me. I can’t even build something simple without having to view 12 youtube vids for some guidance. Takes way to long.
Thinking about changing jobs and close down my company because of this. Its simply undoable to build anything normal with it.
example; you have to now, click through 1500 settings to get to the right box for adjusting stuff. it has become a clicking galore situation.
Going from one container with setting opened to another container will force me to search the appropproate setting, and click it again because its closed…just to name something really simple thats really annoying.
Complete UI has changed so much, I cannot find any logic in it, even after a few days of working with it, nothing makes sense.how long can we use the V1 blocks? Wil they expire at some point?

sorry to hear of your frustrations.
To answer your question first, V1 blocks will always be available as they are legacy code that we commit to maintaining for backwards compatibility.In regards to the 2.0 UI, have you tried the Search and filter options in the styles panel:
For example if you search for
colorit will show only panels related to color.
Those panels will remain open on all blocks until you clear the search.
You can still choose the Hover selector to swap to the hover colors, or set responsive controls..
The search also supports multiple search terms eg.color, paddingDoes that help at all ?

currently completely fed up by the fact that i cannot seem to get a slider in a column (clients wants it, i personally dislike sliders for multiple reasons:) without breaking it.
if you go to this page: you see 3 instances;
1st is with a smart slider 3 ; left column is just being pushed away completely.
2st is with an image; no issues there, and this is what i want (globally styling isnt there yet); 2 columns, contact buttons in left, all same height 33% to make same height as right column, and a slider on the right, bigger column…
3rd is with a carousel slider block, basically same issue, but its not being pushed out to the left completely, but the right is not staying in its container at all. really weird behaviour
I’ve been fiddling around with this for multiple hours now allready…
Can you tell me what is happening here?
Going to try in an old v1 site now to check if there is any difference… -

You’ve set the Grid block’s
grid-column-templateto1fr 4fr, try changing it to20% 80%. -
Worked for the carousel block, removed the smart slider 3 block, because that was still giving issues.
Now on mobile, the bottom one doesn’t respond like the top one (with just an image).
the slider gets stretched (as if it has a fixed height) to the megamax, and the blue bar doesnt collapse and is cut in 3, instead its really wide.
The ordering of the columns doesnt seem to work either (on both examples), set the order for the 1st blue column to 2 and the 2nd column to 0 on mobile, and it’s still on top of it, instead of below. ;/

I only see one on mobile, not sure what you mean. Can you explain some more?

i cannot find the containers with these names, on either of the websites. | no results found…when i use the search function.
On this site, bottom unit, i’ve set 100% width in the sizing box in the maain containers within the grid, but that didn’t work.

Great, thats working. Thanks so much! I was checking the wrong box obviously.
now the ordering, cant figure out why i cannot get the button block to collapse under the image on mobile.
used order 0 and 10 for the image and button block thingy.

if i use the inspector tool on mobile, its telling me to change the gb-element-4f41604b
so thats solved now….thanks!!
