How do I add an author bio box?

Hi there,

I’d like to add an author biography box to this website between two specific blocks: the pin (“ENJOYED THIS POST? PIN IT FOR LATER…”) and the related posts (“YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE”).

I tried to add a block/hook via Elements, but had two problems: 1. I could only see a way to add the block to the very bottom of the content rather than where I want it. 2. I couldn’t see a way to set a rule so that different blocks are shown for different authors.

My question: is there a way to programatically add an author bio box short of installing a plugin? I saw that we can manually add the “Author biography” block to each post, but I was wondering it there was an automatic way to do this.
