I have enabled the “Allow people to submit comments on new posts” in the Settings/Discussion section but I still don’t see a comment box in my blog posts.
How can I enable it?

Hi there,
That setting only applies to new posts. For existing posts you need to check each post’s settings:
- Edit a post → in the right sidebar open Discussion → tick Allow comments.
- If you don’t see it, click Options (3 dots) → Preferences → Panels and enable Discussion.

Hi there,
In the right sidebar, click the 3 dots → go to Preferences → under the General tab, enable the Discussion toggle button.
After that, the Discussion panel will appear in the post sidebar where you can allow comments.

The discussion toggle is enabled, but I cannot see the comments section.

In your Posts list, select all posts, then go to Bulk actions > Edit, and set the Comments option to Allow.
