How to add custom Font to Font Family drop down in the Headline block

  • I am using GenerateBlocks with a custom theme. I added two custom fonts using the theme.json file and while I can access these fonts with the Headline block I have to type in the complete name into the Font Family dropdown. How can I get the font to appear in the list with all the other fonts?

    Thank you,
    Daren

  • Hey Daren,

We don’t have a filter there right now, but we’ve tagged it as a feature to look at in 1.8: https://github.com/tomusborne/generateblocks/issues/961

The entire fonts system could use some love, but we’ll at very least add a filter so people can add their own fonts into the dropdown.

Let us know if you have any other questions 🙂

  • Hi Tom, thank you.

  • No problem! 🙂
