How to call an internal page from elements

  • Hi Guys

I have created a simple page with a single image, and that image links to an affiliate offer (so it looks like an advert).

How do I best call that page from Elements so the image display on my posts?

I have successfully created the hook, but all I get atm is the URL of the page I am calling (in plain text) displayed in my posts, not the image with the link.

Imagine I need to use different HTML for the hook

Sorry that this is such a basic question

    Cheers

    Andrew

  • AH, I figured it by creating a reusable block, sorry!

  • resolved

  • Hi there,

please don’t apologise, what you would think would be fairly basic, in WP it is not 🙂

    Option 1:
Add a GB Query Loop block to your element.
Set the Query loop paramters to show the specific post.
Inside the query loop post template add a Post Content Block.

    Option 2:
Just build that content in your Element instead of using a separate page.

    Option 2:
    Use a reusable block

  • OK, glad to hear you found a solution!

  • Thanks David!
