Hi there, Hoping you can tell me how to get rid of the grey shading and also the space around the banner ad on my site? https://chookjournal.com.au/ The banner was created as a hero type block element using custom HTML with additional CSS.

Hi there,
That grey shading is coming from the body background color. You can remove it under Customize > Colors > Body > Background.

Fantastic! Thank you, that worked. Is there a way to remove some of the space between the bottom of the banner ad and the content that comes after?

Yes, you can do this under Customize > Layout > Container > Content Padding. Just reduce or remove the Top value.

I don’t have any Content Padding option within Container? I only have Container Width, Content Layout and Container Alignment.

Go to Appearance > GeneratePress and activate the Spacing module. After that, the Content Padding option should be available.
