I turned off the open in new tab feature, but it automatically opens in a new tab. Everything I’ve written is like that. I’ll give you the authority of the right holder, so please go anywhere I wrote and check it out.

Hi there,
For clarity, may we know which specific link you’re referring to?
-

That’s what my whole article does. I put my site in the private information. Please check it out there

Fernando
I see. Can you try #1 here to debug: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/
It’s recommended to backup your site before proceeding with this.

I’ve disabled everything except the ones I shouldn’t have disabled, so it works, but I don’t know which plugin is the problem.
-
Fernando
Try enabling the ones you’ve disabled one by one, and check if the issue will occur for every plugin you try to enable.

How do I use wp debug?
-
Fernando
You shouldn’t need that. You’ll just need to determine which plugin is causing the issue.

Activate the wp rocket and it opens on the new tab. This seems to be the problem. Can you check it out?
-
Fernando
We can’t know for sure what setting in WP Rocket is causing this. It would be good to reach out to WP Rocket as well.
However, the first thing to check is if it’s caching. Try clearing the cache of WP Rocket.
If that doesn’t work, try disabling WP Rocket features one by one while check if the issue disappears.

Sorry. It wasn’t a WP rocket issue, it was a Rank math issue. Can you check it out?
-
Fernando
I see. It seems to be a setting they have. Reference: https://rankmath.com/kb/open-links-in-new-window/
Try disabling the “Open External links in a New Tab” setting in Rank Math.
