I want to add a custom Meta Title and Meta Description for my homepage

    Hello GeneratePress Support Team,

    I am using the Scribe theme on my WordPress website https://dviza.com along with GeneratePress Premium and Rank Math SEO.

    I want to add a custom Meta Title and Meta Description for my homepage, but I cannot find the option inside GeneratePress Elements or the homepage settings.

    My homepage currently appears to be using blog/archive layout from the Scribe theme, and I am unsure where the homepage SEO metadata should be edited.

    Could you please guide me on:

    1. Where to edit the homepage meta title and description
    2. Whether the Scribe theme overrides Rank Math homepage SEO settings
    3. If I should use a static page or latest posts homepage for proper SEO control

    Hi there,

    1. Scribe template’s homepage is the blog page. Please check the Rank Math SEO settings to add the meta title and meta description.

    2. No, Rank Math’s settings should override the theme settings.

    3. I don’t think so. Most blog sites use blog as the homepage.
