I would like to have a side bar list all the posts with the same category

  • Is there a way to create a side bar that displays all the posts for that particular post category

  • Hi there,

Where do you want to create the sidebar?

    On a single post?

If so, you can add a GB query block to the sidebar, and add parameter > taxonomy > category > current term.

Note that to exclude the current posts from the list, you need GB Pro plugin.

  • I’m using GB pro and generate press premium, using the element function I created a category side bar (content, side bar) and set the location for a particular category (say category x) Now I would like to place either a widget like collapsing categories and set it to include only say category x, or else the query block like you mentioned and with the parameters you mentioned, and have it only show up for posts with category, I still only get one side bar under widgets and what ever I place in there shows up on the entire site.

    What am I missing?

  • thanks that worked great, just had to makesure the posts had only one category

  • Is everything ok now? Do you still need help?
    Let me know 🙂
