icon color in footer element different on one page

  • Hello!
I created a footer with Elements and set it to be displayed on the entire site. the social media links should display in red, but on this one page (I only found one) they are the same color as the background of the container and therefore invisible. The buttons used for the icons also seem to have different paddings on this one page.
    How it should look: https://obds.at/wer-wir-sind/
The flawed page I found: https://obds.at/was-wir-tun/

    What can cause this?
I deactivated the caching plugin Autoptimize. But that didn’t help…

    Thank you for your help!
    Angie.

  • Hi there,

    That’s strange.

Can you disable all plugins and custom functions except GP Premium and GenerateBlocks to eliminate conflicts from other plugins?

Make sure to activate the parent theme if a child theme is used.

    Let me know 🙂

  • Hello! Sorry, for the long pause.
I deactivated all other plugins and also switched to the parent theme. But the issue was still there.
    Thank you for your insights!
    Angie.

  • Hi there,

edit the Footer, select the parent container and from the block toolbar and select Duplicate so there are now 2 footers. Then delete the original footer.

This will fix the issue by resetting the unique CSS classes of the blocks. AS currently some of the blocks ( social icon buttons ) have been copied from the blocks on the problem page.

  • Very well! This worked. Thank you, Angie.

  • Glad to hear that
