Hi,
I would have like to place an image between the header and the primary menu of my website (onehomeplanet.com). Unfortunately, this does not seem possible. Am I correct?

Can you try creating a block element – hook, add the image to the element, set the element’s location to entire site, select the
after_headerhook, and set priority to 0? -

Sounds good, but once I opt for Hook (not Block) and set location to entire site and select the after_header hook (which is not possible if I opt for Block first), how do I add a picture?

You need to use the Block Element; the Hook in this context refers to the Element Type on the sidebar settings:
