IPAD/IOS specific CSS issues

  • Hi There,

I’m working on a site and have added a custom header element with two buttons that should sit on the right on ipad & in the centre for mobile (site details in private info) the current styling works fine across all screen sizes & devices apart from anything safari ios. Help would be fantatstic!

  • Hi there,

    1. On mobile, select the parent container with class gb-element-9dd3b403, and set flex-wrap to wrap.

    2. On mobile, select the button container with class gb-element-244000a2, set position to relative, float to none, left, right, top to 0, min-width to 100%.

Let me know if this helps!

  • Thanks,

Well, things are looking better on ipad, but on firefox etc everything is out of alignment in the header & the first content section seems to be being pushed to full width. Any suggestions?

  • Hi there,

Are you referring to the Firefox browser layout at the iPad breakpoint? I don’t have an actual iPad to test with, but using a simulator, I wasn’t able to replicate the issue you mentioned. If possible, could you share a screenshot? That would help a lot!

  • Thanks,

Was a strange one, but ultimately it was the flex wrap to wrap that sorted it. I’d hacked my way through the alignment using a variety of margins and floats, but rebuilt that entirely to use the flex properly.

  • Glad to know that!
