Hi Support-Team,
I’m having a issue with spacing in the GeneratePress theme in the shop system at https://reifenpilot.de
When I select a vehicle in the complete wheel (Komplettrad) search and am redirected to the wheel selection page, there is a gap that isn’t visible in the shop plugin’s default theme.
For example, here is an Audi A6: https://reifenpilot.de/raederliste/?id=33060
Screenshot comparing the default theme (green frame) and the GeneratePress theme (red frame): https://postimg.cc/nsr6CG4k
Of course, I’d love to take advantage of all the features of GeneratePress Premium so I don’t have to use the default shop theme, and I’d really like to resolve this issue. Is there a way to do this?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Verena

Hi Verena,
Do you have a staging site we can log into so we can check this issue directly from the backend?

He Verena,
Looking more closely at the HTML, there are empty paragraph tags are being generated by the plugin itself — this appears to be the DBV wheel configurator. The gaps are a plugin output issue rather than something specific to GeneratePress, which means a CSS fix will always be a bit fragile.
Doe this plugin has any settings or content editor area in your WordPress admin? It’s possible that blank lines in an editable content field within the plugin are causing WordPress to generate the extra spacing — if so, removing those blank lines would fix it cleanly without needing any CSS at all.
