Issues with Sugar Calendar plugin

Hi,
I’m trying to establish whether anyone has reported experience of using the Sugar Calendar plugin with GeneratePress Premium. We attempting to replace Timely All In One Events Calendar with Sugar Calendar. In our test site we have de-activated the Timely Calendar and installed the Sugar Calendar plugin, but we are getting some peculiar results. There are difficulties recording event locations. The Google Maps API attaches maps to some events and not others. Previewing draft events displays a full event page, but published events are returning a “page not found” response.

We have used the WordPress Health Check and Troubleshooting plugin with WordPress standard Twenty Twenty-one theme to look for conflicts. In Troubleshooting mode we needed the Classic Editor plugin and Classic Widgets plugin enabled for both themes. For the GeneratePress theme we also enabled the GP Premium plugin. With all other plugins disabled, both themes gave the same incorrect results, which indicates to us that there is a problem with the Sugar Calendar plugin.

We have reported these issues to the Sugar Calendar support team and given them access to our test site, but so far we haven’t received any conclusions: their support system is a little unresponsive.

We are wondering if their plugin has become unstable for some reason, so our next step is to try re-installing it. We have a rather complex Cloudflare firewall, and it doesn’t make sense to give two suppliers access to the site at the same time, so we’ll only arrange access to GeneratePress once we’ve confirmed with Sugar Calendar support that they are not getting anywhere. But it would be useful to know if you have registered any issues with their plugin – I have searched for the plugin on your forum, but didn’t find anything.

I’d be grateful for any suggestions you can offer.
