Korean characters break when entered into the Loop Block.

  • After upgrading to GenerateBlocks 2.0, I’ve encountered a significant inconvenience that’s making my workflow extremely difficult.

Previously, when searching for related posts using the Loop Block, I frequently relied on the autocomplete feature, which showed posts containing the text as I typed partial keywords.

However, since updating to version 2.0, the autocomplete function no longer works properly—particularly when using partial keywords. This issue is especially noticeable when working with languages like Korean or Japanese.

Is this an intended change, or is this a bug?

This autocomplete functionality is essential for efficiently finding and selecting posts.

  • Hi there,

May I know where exactly you’re performing the search? Is it within the Query Loop block’s posts parameter settings?

  • ha.
    hmmm.

    plz. show the image

  • It looks like a bug, but we can’t confirm it yet as other factors might be at play.

Try deactivating all plugins except GP Premium, GenerateBlocks, and GB Pro (if you have it). Then, check if the issue persists to rule out a potential plugin conflict.

  • I disabled all plugins and rechecked. I’m certain this is your bug. Please fix it as soon as possible.

  • Hi there,

Just to confirm what I’m seeing in the screenshot:

    1. You’ve entered a partial match for an existing post
    2. You’re not seeing that post (or others that may match) show in the dropdown

    Let me know 🙂
