Layout & Styling Issues

  • Hello,
There’s two things I’ve been messing with for awhile now and can’t seem to fix.
#1: the text on my page hero elements is see-through to a certain degree, which I don’t want: https://www.lanclocal.com/lancaster-pa/carriage-ride-services/ I’ve tried changing so many settings to no avail.
#2: for the same element, I can’t seem to center the text vertically. For the same page I linked above when you look at it in mobile, there’s always a much bigger gap above the text than below it.

  • Hi there,

    1. select the inner container which contains the text, and set position to relative.

    2. do NOT set static height for containers, you’ve set the parent container width to 400px on mobile, and 450px on tablet, it causes the content inside overflow.
