It took us a while to establish the root cause of the issue, but Mega Menu clicks dont work on pages with legacy blocks from Generate Blocks.
We used a workardound and swithced to Anchored Overlay Panel Type but that results in other menu issues on mobile screens.
Would be great if backward compatibility support was added to legacy blocks and mega menus as we have hundreds of pages with legacy blocks.

Hi there,
We always prioritize backward compatibility for existing features on legacy blocks. However, for newer features moving forward, we can’t guarantee full compatibility of legacy blocks with any new functionality built on top of the v2 block system, as they use a different underlying structure.
Would it be possible to transform only the legacy blocks you want to ensure full compatibility for, such as your mega menu to version 2? You don’t need to transform all of them, just the ones that rely on the newer GB Pro features.

Thanks, Alvind.
To clarivy all blocks in our mega menu are V2. However when the mega menu is used on a page with legacy blocks, clicks on the mega menu dont work.
When a user clicks on a menu item the mega menu simply collapses and link is not followed.
This does not happen on pages with V2 blocks.

Can I see it on your site?

Hi Ying.
We had to disable mega menu overlayses and switched to anchors on our site due to this issue.
However I pasted a legacy block code in private information section.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a page with the legacy block
2. Create a megamenu (with at least one link) using mega menu overlay pannel type and navigate to the page with legacy block.
3. Click on the mega menu link – it wont work.
4. Switch to anchored overlay panel type and try again – link will work. -

I tried to reproduce the issue following your steps, but I wasn’t able to. All the links I added inside the mega menu are clickable without any problem.
Do you have a staging site where you can reproduce the issue? That would help us inspect it directly and identify the actual cause.
