Legacy Local Patterns

  • I have legacy local patterns. How do I move these to the new pattern library?

Or how do I edit them?

I can find them using the legacy pattern Gutenberg block if I want to insert them, but since moving to wp6.6, I can’t find a way to view and edit them anymore in the pattern section of the appearance menu. In WP 6.5 there was a Legacy Patterns button in the Patterns section that allowed me to see and edit them.

As I’m sure you know, WP6.6 introduces a huge change to the layout of the pattern section, and the button to view them is no longer there.

  • Hi there,

In the admin dashboard, if you go to GenerateBlocks > Local Patterns you should be able to access the Legacy Patterns there.
