Link to one Tab from another Tab

  • I’ve inserted a button at the end of one of my Tabs that should jump to the next Tab Menu Item (within the same Tab Block), however it’s not actually opening the next Tab.

Is it possible to open another Tab on the same page from an existing Tab?

Note, I’m building this within an Element. I’ve initially tried it with the HTML ID link, but that’s what’s not working (it seems to “highlight” the next tab but not actually open it).

    Thanks!

  • Hi there,

Can I see the tabs you are referring to and point me to the tab and the button?

  • Link below! The Tab section is about half-way down, where there is a button in the first Tab that links to the HTML ID of the second Tab.

  • Try adding the HTML ID to the tab content instead of the tab button.

Let me know if this helps!

  • Ah, that worked! Not sure why I didn’t think of trying that out.

And for reference, I tried adding it to my content Grid inside that tab, but that didn’t work — I had to add it to the Tab Item block itself.

    Thank you for your help!

  • You are welcome   🙂 Glad it’s working!
