Link to PopUp/Overlay Panel from Navbar Link

  • Hello,

How can I open a pop-up via the menu? I copied the data attributes from the popup and entered them in the menu fields CSS / Link relationships (XFN) / URL, which seemed logical to me. But none of these options worked. How should I do this?

    Thank you

  • Hi there,

That isn’t the correct way to add data attributes. For core WordPress menu items, there’s unfortunately no default field available to add custom attributes.

Within GenerateBlocks, if you’re using GenerateBlocks Pro, you can add attributes through the HTML Attributes field under the Advanced panel in the block settings.

As an alternative, you could place a GenerateBlocks Button in the menu area and use that button as the popup trigger instead.
