Hi, I have a couple questions.
First, I did something, so now I can’t choose the type of sidebar layout or remove featured image/header/footer…. in the right sidebar.
Second, I want to use the blank slate plugin to make my homepage just an html page I created with another program, but I don’t have the ability to choose a template, which you have to do to use the blank slate plugin.

From your description, it’s not clear what you are trying to do. Can you sent us a URL?
Regarding your second request: Not sure what you are referring as the blank slate plugin.

Don’t worry about the second request. I think I can get that figure out. When editing a blog post or page, on the right side there are options to disable elements and choose sidebar configuration. Mine just disappeared. The disable elements is still activated with generate press .

That is indeed very strange! Could you please provide site credentials so we could have a look for you? Please use the private section of your reply to post them. You can also install the Temporary Login Without Password plugin and send us a login link without using a password. Again, please, use the private area of your reply to send those details.

All my pages and posts in the back end do not have the sidebar option.

Hello.
I’ve just logged in to the site, visited a page and I can see the layout options in the backend.
Those layout options will not be available if an Editor is logged in, though. Could that be the issue?

still not showing up for me. maybe a caching issue? Ok, showing up for posts, but not pages.

Could it be that you are logging in as an Editor instead? I don’t think a caching plugin could be so aggressive as to cache those requests. Do you use WP Rocket? Would be worth clearing the cache just in case.

I use wp rocket and I am an admin and have cleared cache multiple times. Maybe just create a new user to use and go from there. Thank you for your help.
