I switched to GeneratePress from a theme that stored a quotation and author name in the “Quote” post format. I didn’t realize I would lose all of those when I made the switch.
I do have a table of all of them, so I suppose I could go in and copy and paste them back into each post. But, there are I have many of these.
I was wondering if there was an easier way to retrieve these from a backup file and then put them into a customized post format.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

If it’s a custom post type for Quotes, you can try the suggestion here: https://wpsheeteditor.com/custom-post-type-ui-bulk-edit/ – I’m not sure if this is safe though. It would be best to reach out to a developer for better assistance regarding this level of CPT importing.
