I tested a MaiChimp newsletter/email list subscribe block with one of my email addresses. I got the thankyou message & an email to confirm the subscription…. but I didn’t get notification as the website owner that my email list has begun. I had to go into the back end & ‘renew MailChimp lists’ to see that I now have 2 subscribers (my friend joined also).
Am I doing something wrong? Should I get email notification, as the website owner, that I have a new subscriber? How do I auto-respond to the email lists.
I realise that these questions may be out of scope but just trying you guys first.

Hi there,
unfortunately thats not a plugin I have used so I can’t answer that.
Check with the mail chimp plugin developer as they should know what would effect that.
