Hello,
How can I add a mandatory checkbox with text to the newsletter form that the user must tick?
-
Hi there,
Are you referring to the Form block of Generateblocks Pro plugin?
-
yes
-
You can select the form block, click the add form field button, then set the new field’s type to checkbox, toggle the Required option:

Okay, but now it looks like this:
https://prnt.sc/SvLNkmMS6bG0But it should look like this:
https://prnt.sc/rHMd0YgPZRqEHow can I get this?
-
Can you link me to the page where I can see it?
-
Here is a link to the draft Website.
The checkbox should be aligned directly with the text
Please also take a look at the other problem with this: Insert a email-adress, check the box and click “Abonnieren”. Then the button suddenly becomes very wide, so that you can barely see the email field.

I am not able to view a preview without logging into your site. Can you publish it?
-
Have you clicked on the link? If not, then do so.
-
As I said, I can not view a preview link. You need to publish this post so I can see it!
-
As I said, have you clicked on the link? If not, then do so.

Select the Checkbox Field block.
Under Layout, set Display to Flex.
Then, under Grid Layout, set Grid Column to 1 / -1.
-
I have done this, but this does not change anything. But what do you mean with: Grid Column to 1 / -1.
Should I put “1 / -1” in that field? -
Alvind
Yes, exactly like this: https://cln.sh/WsYtk1ftP7vwlnHZBhKh
-
Okay, but this does not change anything.

Alvind
Ah, okay. That’s because the Email Field block is currently set to Display – Grid. Can you change its Display setting to Flex ?
