Mixed content (http & https) of uploaded images bug

  • Hi guys,

I came across to an issue… When i upload an image through the editor in some block, it happens to some of the image paths to be with http and others with https.

This happens on multiple websites where i use generatepress.

Pls check the <img code in the attached image.

All wordpress instances/environments we use like local, staging and production are starting with https,we have the issue only with uploading images.

The only way to fix it is to re-upload the image again.

    Thanks

  • Hi there,

go to settings > general, are you using HTTP or HTTPS for the website address and WP address?

    Let me know 🙂

  • Hi Ying,

It is https. I am a developer also, i believe it is a bug.

    Thanks

  • I can not replicate the issue on my site. Any chance you can disable all plugins and custom functions to test uploading images again?

And I don’t think GB has the ability to alter the URL, the uploading function is entirely from WP, I don’t think it’s GB specific.

Can you try WP’s image block to test?
