Mobile Responsive Layout Issue with Newsroom Theme

  • Hi Support Team,

I recently switched one of my WordPress sites from the Soledad theme to the Newsroom theme (using GenerateBlocks Pro and GP Premium). While the desktop view displays correctly, the mobile view is problematic:

    – Menus are not displaying properly.
    – Page content is compressed to the left with an excessive empty space on the right.

It also displays poorly on tablets.

Furthermore, there is also an issue with the desktop view: I have correctly published all the sidebar elements on the homepage, but they do not appear there.

I have attached screenshots to illustrate the mobile issues and provided the site link in the private section.

Could you please review the site and advise on how to resolve these mobile display issues?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Best regards

  • Hi Support Team,

I have found the solution to the issues I mentioned earlier: the problem was caused by the ‘Remove Unused CSS’ option in the Perfmatters plugin. Once I deactivated that option, both the mobile and tablet views displayed correctly.

Additionally, I noticed that the desktop view also had issues when I was logged out of the admin account – for example, the sidebar elements did not appear on the homepage. Disabling the ‘Remove Unused CSS’ option resolved that as well.

I’m leaving this message here in case it might help someone else in the future.

    Best regards
