Move Search Bar

  • So I have created the search bar, and everything in the back end is correct.

When I add this to the function.php in the theme folder, it works, but it is not in the right place on the page.

The wpbsearch is above the graphic and should be under it and centered.

    Any ideas why?

    Thank you!

  • Hi there,

How did you add the image? Is it added to the post content area?

If so, then there is NO hook in the content area, so no, it’s not going to work, and I don’t think you need to add it via functions.php file.

If you can remove the static image and enable the featured image, then you can insert the search bar via a hook element, and set the location according to this visual hook guide: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/hooks-visual-guide/
