Hi Team,
I want to design below like blog home page:
https://blog.zoom.us/The latest blog post should appear as featured blog post and rest of the blogs in small sizes.
So far I am able to achieve like this: https://tenxerlabs.com/blog/
I have used block content template to achieve this. Here is the settings: https://share.getcloudapp.com/X6uKg4le
Please let me know what options should I use. Is it content template or post loop ? and what should be the settings.
Regards

Hi there,
In your case, you are using the content template correctly.
To have the posts in columns, go to Customizer > layout > blog, scroll to the bottom, and check the
Display posts in columns
option. If you want to have a hero post as the example site, you can create another block element – content template, apply it to the 1st post and choose the current content template as its parent element.

Hi Ying,
As per your feedback I checked the display posts in columns:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/5zuOgQklAnd I created a blog element for first post:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/geuPjnX6And then I created one more element for other posts:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuR2xbKBut its not appearing as desired like below:
https://blog.zoom.us/I am not sure what mistake am I doing here. please help.
PS: Meanwhile I was trying to edit one more time, surprisingly this time Blog Home page element is missing in parent element https://share.getcloudapp.com/lluXxPb7

Hi Lohith,
Can you provide admin login credentials through the
Private Information field
?We’ll try to assess why it isn’t working.

I see. In Appearance > Customize > Layout > Blog, activate the “Make first post featured”. Reference: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/blog-overview/

I activated it. But the featured post is duplicated.
I have used 3 elements for blog home page:
— Blog Home Page ( Block content template)
Blog Home Page- First Post ( Block content template)
Blog Home Page (Layout)As I said in above thread I want to achieve the below design:
https://blog.zoom.us/For the Blog Home Page- First Post:
I did achieve the similar look and feel: https://share.getcloudapp.com/nOuLdNXmBut for the rest of post when I created another element, the design got broke.
can you please check the settings and let me know where I need to update to achieve that design.

That’s odd.
Let’s address the duplicated post first.
Can you first update both GP them and GPP plugin to the latest versions? Let’s proceed afterward.
