Hi there,
I am trying to do https://generatepress.com/introducing-the-navigation-and-site-header-blocks/ the new site header and navigation – However, I am struggling lots with Mobile.
It seems that if you have desktop as standard, and maybe add a search bar to desktop, it does not translate to a typical mobile look of menu far left | logo | search icon far right or logo far left | search far right | menu far right.
Can you tell me what I am doing wrong please?
Kind regards,
Will

Hi Will,
Can you show me your site?

I am working on a local staging at the moment – I am not understanding at all what the search logic is for the new GB site header/navigation – especially for getting it looking like the curent site (I added that in private information)

Check this doc; you can add a button with a search icon and add a custom attribute to the button. It will act as the GP navigation search modal
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-search-modal/#add-custom-navigation-search-modal-trigger
But make sure the search modal is enabled in the customizer > layout> navigation. -

It’s not ideal but it can work thank you.
How do I change the breakpoint for the desktop version of the menu to go to mobile? At the momemnt, the main menu goes to the burger menu at tablet, not at mobile?

Select the navigation block, and change its mobile breakpoint:
