New Header Element – content width

  • Hi everyone,

I’m in the middle of watching Kyle’s (TAB) video on creating a fairly complex layout.
I note that when the Site Header Block is added, it is full width.
Previously with the customizer we have a setting to make the Header Width & Inner Header Width.
What would you suggest to replicate this so the header is not full width ?

    TIA, Dave

  • Hi Dave,

Inside the Site Header block, you can add either a Container or a Navigation block, depending on the header layout you want. Then, give that block a max-width value — this will act as the Inner Header width.

  • Thanks Alvind – I’ll check that tomorrow (late here)
By the way, this and my other support request (re the large and 3 x small images) both have the notify checkbox ticked, but I have not received any notifications?

    Dave

  • No problem. 🙂

Regarding the notification — there might’ve been a small hiccup in the system. Could you let me know if you received a notification for this reply?

  • Thanks Alvind,

Yes this one and the other support ticket came in, all good…

    Dave

  • Glad to know that! Most likely just a small glitch yesterday.
