I’ve added some excerpts but the blog archive does not seem to be showing them.

Sure. In the post editor, in the Excerpt section, under where you place featured images.

You’ve added the manual excerpt in the correct place. It’s strange that it’s not showing up on the front end.
If possible, could you provide temporary login credentials for your site so I can take a closer look at what’s going on?

Sure, I’ve set that up and added the link to the private links.

Okay, I just looked at your backend settings, and the reason the manual excerpt is not showing is that you have a custom snippet that overrides the manual excerpt from displaying. So you will need to turn off this snippet in the Code Snippet: Fix button on blog issue
Now the manual excerpt should be showing, but the Read More button will disappear. To add that, use this snippet here:
