Overlay menu text color if triggered on desktop view

  • Hi there,

I’ve built a site header which I’ve customized after starting from one of the GenerateBlocks presets. I chose one of the patterns that is set to dark logo & menu link text on desktop and light/white logo & menu link text on tablet/mobile. My question is: if someone is viewing the site on desktop and minimizes their browser window to the point that the breakpoint triggers and the menu toggle appears on desktop, the menu items “disappear” on the overlay panel menu because they’re set in dark text as per the desktop menu link color settings. Is there a way to customize the overlay menu link & hover colors for instances where the overlay panel is toggled on a desktop view without altering the standard dark text links for standard desktop views (on larger browser windows that won’t trigger the breakpoint/overlay)?

    Thank you!

    Catherine

  • Hi Catherine,

You may need to use custom CSS to adjust the colors at the specific breakpoint where the menu toggle appears. I assume this doesn’t fall under the default tablet breakpoint, is that correct?

  • Thanks, Alvind. Custom CSS did the trick!

  • Glad to hear that!
