Page Hero issue with posts

  • Hi there,

I have an issue with a page hero not being full-width on posts. I’ve added an example URL to the private information, if you visit the homepage you will see an example of it working correctly. The Block Alignment on the post content template setting is set to ‘full width’, like it is for the page hero’s in use elsewhere, and I can’t find the setting that is causing this to be overridden on posts.

    Any ideas what I’m missing?
    All help appreciated

  • Hi there,

for some reason the site isn’t loading the Align Full CSS on the front end.
However, i would personally avoid using that method as it’s a CSS hack to force the container to a wider width. Instead use a Layout Element to make the page full width:

    1. remove the align Full Width.
    2. in Appearance > Elements -> Add New –> Layout
2.1 in the content tab set the Content Container to Full Width
2.2 set the element display rule locations to match the same as the Content Template.

Now you have a fill width page to work with.

I notice in the Content template ou already have a container for the content , and it has an inner container with max width. Select its parent container and give it some Left and Right Padding.
