Hi,
I’ve created an archive Page Hero element. Is has an image and a dynamic title.
I would like to add a short description under the title.
This page hero is used for various archive pages, so the description should be different per the archive (blog / CPT etc…)
How can this be done?
Thanks

Hi Danstramer,
Since you have GP Premium, you can add a Dynamic Content Block to your Page Hero.
Reference: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/dynamic-blocks/#dynamic-content
Set it to show the Term Description.

Thanks,
since I have a dynamic header in the ‘general’ blog page – which description will it pull in?
I added the ‘dynamic content’ block, but nothing is showing up.
Another option would be to use custom field – can I pull in data from ACF ‘options’ table? Thanks

I don’t think there’s a description field for blog page.
But for archive pages, you can use the dynamic content block to pull the term description from its dropdown list.
For the blog page, try using a separate page hero with a static description.
