Pagination for Query Loop pages?

  • Hi,

I’m building a Blog page using the Generate Blocks Query Loop Block.

Everything works well and initially I had setup the Posts per Page to 10.

Upon reaching 10 blog posts listed by the Query Loop Block, any new blog post would be added to the loop, but the old one disappear and no pagination or load more button is shown to expand the number of items on the page.

I now changed the number of blog posts to 20 and I have currently 16 blog posts published, but when I reach 20 blog posts published, the same issue will happen with the old blog posts disappearing and no way to get to them by either use pagination or load more blog post options available.

How can I add pagination to this page so that if more than the set number of blog posts is displayed, the older ones can be reached by pagination?

Alternatively, how can I add a Load More button to the bottom of the query loop block to load more than the set number of Blog posts per page?

    Thanks

  • Hello there,

A load more feature isn’t available yet. However, enabling pagination is possible.

For the GB Query Loop Block, you can add pagination through the toolbar. Example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/E0uZDO4E

  • OK, thanks, that works for now, however, it’s not obvious to me how can I highlight the current page in the numbering sequence.

Ideally, I would like to either change the colour of the active page or at least underline the current page number to give users a hint of where they are in the sequence.

    How can I do that?

    Thanks

  • There’s a current color you can alter in the Block Settings. Example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/WnumpA9N

That should “highlight” the current page.

  • OK, Yeah, that should do it.

    Thanks

  • You’re welcome, Cclexis!
