I am looking to use pages and I want to have 6 images per page with a description under each and a button taking them to YouTube Short, or might use a lightbox
I relation to having 6 images per page if i go to settings Readings and set max pages to 6, will it go on to next page ot will I have to setup multiple pages and just link manually to the next and previous pages. Perhaps there is a plugin that can help me?
Do you know what it is I am trying to do? and are you able to make any suggestions as to how to achieve it?

are you talking about pages or posts?
Pages do not have default archvie index, while posts do, WP generates blog and archives for posts, which will have pagination by default if you have more posts than the value you set at settings > reading > Blog pages show at most.

I was thinking of doing pges as I feel it would be better from an seo perspective? although not sure on that one, just blooking at my best way forwards re pagination, maybe better just to use a plugin for lightbox on a video and a separate plugin for pagination?

Do you have Generateblocks plugin? If so, you can use its query block to display pages and it comes with pagination.
As for video lightbox, yes, you will need a plugin for that.

I have GenerateBlocks and WP Lightbox, but I am looking into a few of the gallery type plugins as I reckon they may well suit me better than having to try and design the thing myself
