Parent Menu Not Clickable from Homepage

  • I have searched multiple threads but did not find this issue discussed.

From the homepage, my client needs the top Parent Menu items to be clickable, which they are not when viewing the homepage.

When the user is on secondary pages, the Parent Menu item in the Navigation is clickable.

    Just not on the homepage.

I found other topics that pointed to the Customize>Layout>Primary Navigation, but changing those settings did not impact the homepage (which I need).

    Thanks!

  • Hi there,

It looks like you’re using the core Navigation block.

How did you add the navigation to the site? Did you add it on a page-by-page basis?

If so, try copying the Navigation block from the subpages and replacing the homepage navigation block. That should bring over the settings that make it work on the subpages.

  • That was it, thank you!

  • Glad to hear that!
