Hi there,
The Pattern Library Legacy block appears only if you have previously saved an old pattern locally to the site. If not, the option will not be available.

So if i now go and create a local pattern will it appears?

No, I don’t think so.
You will need to install a v1 plugin to be able to access the legacy pattern library.

I’d like to open up this topic again because I believe I may have found a unique situation where the “Pattern Library Block” is missing. If we go back in time with GenerateBlocks, we have technically gone through 3 generations of the Container block: version 1.0, version 1.5, and version 1.7/2.0. I have a client site that uses the original GenerateBlocks 1.0 Container block, which is used throughout various patterns in the GenerateBlocks “Legacy” Pattern Library. When I upgraded the website from GB 1.9.1 and GBP 1.7.1 to GB 2.0.2 and GBP 2.0.0, the “Pattern Library Block” is missing. Could it be that GenerateBlocks only recognizes the version 1.5 Container block used in the “Legacy” Pattern Library, and since that version is not used in this specific “Legacy” Pattern Library, the “Pattern Library Block” is hidden when GB 2.0.2 and GBP 2.0.0 are installed? On other client websites where Container 1.5 blocks are used, the “Pattern Library Block” is not missing when GB 2.0.2 and GBP 2.0.0 are installed.
