Patterns not working properly

  • I created a pattern to to reuse across a wp multisite but they are not maintaining the width.

On the original page where they were created the page is set to full width and also for the second page.

On the original all the content below the splash is contained. That is only partially true. The element are full width and content under them is contained.

I wish there was someway to make the main theme a child them then I could maintain styling.

  • Hi there,

The pattern inherits styling only at the block level, so to ensure consistency between the main site and child sites, the theme settings—especially the page width setting—need to match for identical display.

A central theme configuration would be ideal, but it’s unclear if that can be implemented in a WordPress Multisite environment.

  • How about on a single installation? Still have same problem.

I have added links in the private area for this. It is the second set of links.

This is a theme from the site library.

  • Hi there,

looking at the /services/ page, several of the Container Blocks on that page have a Sizing > Max Width set to global max width which is 1200px. This includes the top level Container block that everything is inside of as well the Container thats wrapping the Grid.

If you want it to be fullwidth you need to remove those Max Width values.
