Persistent Overlays on page that shouldn’t have them

  • I have a page that I am trying to create some custom js on for the handling of a Hubspot form in an Onverlay set for that page, but I am running into an issue where the js for other Hubspot forms is present in the page code upon inspection due to Overlay panels that are not set to display on this page. How can I prevent these from displaying? I have other forms set to be excluded from this page. Do I need to set Conditions as well, and if so, what does that looks like?

  • Hi there,

I can see a lot of overlays on the page. If you didn’t assign the overlays to be triggered by any elements on this page, they should not appear.

Can you provide an admin login for us to check the backend setup?

  • Added login info to this ticket.

The overlays with Hubspot forms/script not being called are the issues.

  • Hum..I do not see the login info.

  • Trying to place the info in private but it isn’t saving

  • You have 18 published overlays in total, so yes, I think you will need to add conditions for them; they are now displaying everywhere.

  • What should an example condition look like?

  • If you want the overlay to appear on the homepage, then create a location type condition:
Location -> is -> Front page
