PHP Update Recommended by WordPress

    Hi there,

    I have 2 sites on Generate Press version 3.6.1. (https://www.torntackies.com/ and https://australiaobsessed.com/). In my WordPress dashboard, both sites have the following notice:

    “Your site is running on an outdated version of PHP (7.4.33), which does not receive security updates. It should be updated.”

    What do I need to do to ensure I have the latest PHP version?

    Hi Carryn,

    It depends on your hosting provider. If you’re on shared or managed hosting, you should be able to select the latest PHP version from your server management panel. If you’re unsure how to do that, you can contact your hosting provider’s support—they’ll be able to help.
